BAGHDAD, May 17 (Reuters) - The development of the Maysan oilfield complex by China's CNOOC () and state-run Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) will require billions of dollars in investment, Iraq's oil minister said on Monday.
"The development of such fields, according to our estimates, requires multibillion dollars in investment," Oil Minister Hussain al-Shahristani said after CNOOC and TPAO signed a final agreement over the 2.5-billion-barrel oilfield complex.
