Mr. Maurice Iskandar, Member of BLF 's Executive Committee and Head of International said: "We aim to be an ideal business partner for Lebanese clients and companies already operating in Iraq or looking to expand their businesses there, as well as for Iraqi corporations, individuals and local banks. As part of this effort, we have recently launched operations in Baghdad where we are offering comprehensive financial solutions to individuals, SMEs, corporate companies, as well as local Iraqi commercial banks. We aim to have a significant contribution to the promising Iraqi economy by financing public and private infrastructure projects and international trade and by providing state-of-the art services and banking products. The Iraqi market represents a great potential for us; this is why we are planning to reinforce our presence there in the coming two years by opening four more branches to serve our customers' needs."
