Basra oil production carries on

A Naval agent in the region affirmed that oil tankers are being loaded with oil ordinarily from Basra southern port. It added that loading operations are ongoing since the attack against a subordinate oil pipeline last Thursday. Crude oil quantity in big naval reserve tanks which are fed by the pipeline that was attacked might have regressed, the source said.
In the same context, an Iraqi oil official said that the attack against oil pipeline lowered production and exports over about 100 thousand barrels per day. Iraq bids to restore exports to their regular level on Tuesday, he added.
